My tours are always tailored to the group and are adjusted to their interests and requirements. The most popular ‘standard’ tour gives an overview, past and present, of the city and university. It lasts approximately 2 hours, the pace is leisurely and only a mile and a half or so of walking is involved. Visits to college chapels and halls, and to important university buildings are included (subject to dates and timings).

Other popular tours include ‘Oxford/American Miscellany’, ’Tudor Oxford’, and ‘Oxford and the Wesleys’. These tours include much of the standard tour but also highlight the particular Oxford aspects of the relevant subject.

The style varies but most visitors prefer anecdotes and stories rather than scholarly dissertations.
